Conspiracy Behind the Tsunami Natural Disaster – Natural disasters do occur without human intervention, these natural disasters are unavoidable and difficult to predict.
Throughout history, especially in modern times, humanity has struggled to survive natural and man-made disasters. Often, conspiracy theories emerge and become a “spice” for these disasters.
1. The sinking of the RMS Lusitania was engineered by Churchill
On May 7, 1915, a German U-boat attacked the British steamship the Lusitania. The attack killed 1,195 people and sent the United States into World War I. Some believe the Lusitania is being renovated to become a warship although at the time it remained a passenger ship.
Launching from History, the commander of the German navy realized this, that the ship contained weapons being transported from America to Europe. This also led them to declare war in neutral waters and attack the Lusitania.
Over the years after the sinking of the Lusitania, several conspiracy theories emerged. This theory states that Winston Churchill engineered the accident so that America entered the war. Another theory states that Lusitania hid her name and deliberately sailed towards the U-boat.
2. The fall of the nuclear bomb in Japan marked the beginning of the Cold War
On August 6 and August 9, 1945, America dropped two nuclear bombs each on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Hundreds of thousands of people died in the disaster, most of them civilians. On August 15, 1945, Emperor Hirohito announced the surrender of Japan and marked the end of World War II.
Decades later, in 2005, two nuclear historians, Peter Kuznick and Mark Selden, decided to “scratch” this old wound. They also put forward a controversial theory which states that the bombing was deliberately carried out to start the Cold War, not to end World War II.
Furthermore, they said that the then president of America, Harry Truman, wanted to show off his strength to the Soviet Union and had therefore committed crimes against humanity. Kuznick and Selden also claim that Truman’s other motive was to limit Soviet expansion in Asia.
Kuznic, in particular, insisted that Japan surrendered because of the aftermath of the Soviet invasion of its two cities, not because of the bombing itself.
3. The devastating tsunami in 2004 aimed to improve the earth’s rotation
On December 26, 2004, the fault between the Burma Plate and the Indian Plate fractured which resulted in the Sumatra-Andaman earthquake around the Indian Ocean. This underwater earthquake was measuring 9.1-9.3 on the Richter scale and generated a tsunami wave as high as 30 meters.
This disaster has killed more than 227,000 people in fourteen different countries. The furthest recorded death occurred at Rooi-Els, near Cape Town in South Africa. Only a dozen days later, conspiracy theorists began to suspect this incident.
They ask questions like, why did America deploy warships there considering there is no war in the region, and why did this “Boxing Day” tsunami occur exactly one year after the big earthquake in Iran in 2003?
Some people also believe that America is the mastermind behind the disaster. Meanwhile, other conspiracy theories say that the earthquake and tsunami aimed to improve the earth’s rotation or the tsunami was actually triggered by a nuclear bomb left over from World War II.
4. Israel wants to start a nuclear war by bombing Fukushima
On March 11, 2011, a devastating earthquake measuring 9.0 on the Richter scale destroyed Japan’s main island, Honshu, resulting in a tsunami wave as high as 10 meters. The tsunami also caused a nuclear explosion at the Fukushima power plant located along the coast.
In 2012, a former United States National Security Agency analyst, Jim Stone, stated that the Fukushima disaster was a declaration of nuclear war from the Israeli government.
His theory, as long as 9,000 words, says that the Japanese earthquake was actually a nuclear attack from Israel to stop Japan from “giving” uranium to Iran. He also claimed that Israel was unhappy with the cooperation between Japan and Iran on nuclear technology.
